Great concert, terrible venue
The spectacular group Ax and the Hatchetmen, hailing from Korea, is a favorite of mine and my daughter. They put on an absolutely phenomenal performance that more than compensated for the venue's poor organization and management. The Hulu theater, which can hold about 5,000 people, was packed for the show. Fans arrived early to meet up with each other as advised in an email from the Hulu center. Right from the start, the staff at the venue seemed overwhelmed and disorganized. Despite efforts from the tour staff to maintain order, the Hulu staff were uncooperative and chaotic. The situation was a complete mess. Trying to purchase merchandise or even just get water involved long waits and confusion. The lack of organization was frustrating, especially considering the amount we had paid. Kpop fans are known for their loyalty and enthusiasm, and we were doing our best to follow instructions and be respectful. However, the staff kept changing directions and showing impatience. I would much prefer to travel to New Jersey or Pennsylvania for my next concert rather than deal with the incompetence of the Hulu theater again.
